EQL Edtech is recruiting on behalf of our partner client - the UK’s leading provider of online teaching - to find exceptional secondary teachers of Maths, English, and Science to join their virtual learning team.
This is a self-employed, fully remote role offering flexible hours and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students through high-quality online education.
About the RoleYou'll deliver already prepared engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons to secondary students across Key Stages 3, 4, and/or 5, using digital platforms to provide a supportive, inclusive, and interactive learning environment.
Key Information Location: Remote (UK-based only)
Contract type: Self-employed
Rate: £23.50 per 45-minute lesson
Schedule: 5–25 lessons per week (based on your availability and demand)
Teaching hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00
Subjects: Maths, English, or Science
Requirements
You will be: ✔️ A QTS-qualified secondary teacher – this is essential
✔️ Based in the UK with full eligibility to work in the UK
✔️ Experienced in teaching Maths, English, or Science at KS3, KS4 and/or KS5
✔️ Confident using online teaching tools and platforms
✔️ Skilled in adapting your teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
✔️ Organised, proactive, and committed to student success
✔️ Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
✔️ Deliver structured and engaging virtual lessons aligned to the national curriculum
✔️ Use digital tools to bring learning to life and foster student interaction
✔️ Provide personalised support and feedback to help students progress
✔️ Collaborate with a team of like-minded professionals focused on impact
