Teacher of Maths and Science – Basingstoke – Permanent Role Starting January 2026

A successful secondary school in Basingstoke is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Maths and Science (or Science and Maths) to join their team from January 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety and is confident delivering both subjects across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your Role:

• Full-time, permanent teaching position starting January 2026
• Deliver engaging Maths and Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific curiosity
• Play an active role in the school’s wider community and curriculum development

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Strong subject knowledge in both Maths and Science
• Ability to teach creatively and adapt lessons for mixed-ability groups
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A teacher who is passionate about shaping confident, capable learners
