Job Title: Science Teacher (Maternity Cover)Location: Coventry
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed-term (Maternity Cover)
Salary: MPS/UPS £32,916.00 to £51,048.00 per annum
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and engage students in the sciences, fostering curiosity and achievement across all ability levels.
You will deliver high-quality lessons, contribute to curriculum planning, and ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Science across Key Stages in line with the National Curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
- Contribute to departmental development and whole-school initiatives.
- Qualifications:
- A degree in Science or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience:
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
- Ability to deliver lessons that challenge and inspire students.
- Skills & Qualities:
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
