Quality Manager - 10 Month FTC Competitive Salary Merseyside Experienced Quality Manager / Quality Supervisor required for a ten month FTC to cover maternity leave starting in November 2025. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, successful food production facility based in St Helens, Merseyside. My client runs a 24/7 business producing healthy, nutritious products for the education sector. They are part of a big FTSE business and operate a flat structure with lots of autonomy. You will be responsible for ensuring all products produced on site are: - In accordance with all legal requirements and the sites BRCGS certification for Food Safety. Produced consistently to the agreed customer specification. Produced in-line with the sites Food Safety & Quality Manual (FSQM) ensuring that all site processes and procedures are consistently followed and that the highest standards are maintained. Reporting into the Technical Manager, you will gain broad Quality / Technical experience. Your role will be to lead and motivate the QA department ensuring that the business produce food that is legal, safe and meets quality standards and customer specifications. There will be a team of QA's on site to undertake the day to day audits who have a dotted line to the Technical Manager and Production. Key Accountabilities will include Overseeing the Technical / Quality department to ensure the site achieves BRC and meets customer requirements. Review and enforce all codes of practice requirements and company policies. Generate and maintain Technical KPI's Manage and control customer product specifications and factory recipes Communicate cross functionally to resolve any technical issues and drive improvements in the factory To apply you will ideally have the following Degree or HND in Food Science or Food Technology Proven experience in a QA department Advanced Food Hygiene certificate Knowledge and experience of GMP and BRC Get in touch today for further information Ref NCM56769
