Are you a passionate and driven Maths teacher ready to lead a department and make a lasting impact on students' learning and progress? Long Term Futures is working with a thriving secondary school in Coventry (CV2) seeking an ambitious and inspiring Head of Maths to join their leadership team from January or April 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or subject leader looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking trust dedicated to Building Brighter Futures for every learner.
Your Role-
Provide clear, impactful leadership of the Maths Department to drive standards and achievement

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3-5

Lead curriculum design, assessment, and departmental planning

Inspire, support, and develop teachers to deliver outstanding lessons

Use data and assessment effectively to raise student outcomes

Collaborate with other curriculum leads across the trust to share best practice and innovation

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Maths specialism

Strong record of success in teaching and student progress

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate colleagues

Strategic thinker with excellent organisation and communication skills
