Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated tutorwith a proven record of success in delivering GCSE Maths and Science. Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans, assessing student learning, and providing academic support. They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students.

Job Title: GCSE Maths and Science Tutor

Location: Wandsworth

Hours: 2 hours per week

Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays after school

Rate: £32.50 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor’s degree
• 1+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
• An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The right to be self employed in the UK

What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
• Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
• Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these
• Monitoring student progress and producing reports
• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
• Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
